Vascular Treatments – Spider Veins+

Aging and genetics play a role in our skin’s appearance. From small veins on our face and nose (known as telangiectasia) to red dots (known as cherry angiomas) and small varicose veins on the legs, our vascular laser treatments can treat these dilated vessels quickly. In most cases no more than two treatments are usually required to remove these bothersome blemishes.

Laser Genesis – “Red Carpet Facial”

Laser Genesis (LG) is a highly effective treatment for Rosacea, fine lines, acne scars and improving skin’s texture. The LG is typically done in a series of treatments based on the patient’s needs and ranges from four to six initial treatments. The LG is one of Hollywood’s secrets of being Red Carpet ready, which is why it’s referred to as the “Red Carpet facial”. The gentle warmth of the LG treatment relaxes many patients as it helps to promote collagen and elastin production over time.

TITAN – Laser Skin Tightening

TITAN treatment is a great option to improve skin laxity on the face, abdomen, arms and any other part of the body affected by age. This non-invasive treatment requires a series of three to five treatments spaced over four to six weeks apart. After the skin is cleansed and prepared, a cooling gel is applied to allow full and comfortable contact with the handpiece. The treatment can involve mild discomfort due to the heating of deeper layers of skin but it is temporary and as many patients cheerfully respond, totally worth it!

Laser Hair Removal – Permanent Hair Reduction

Laser Hair Removal (LHR) treatments are not all alike. Fortunately, our laser provides permanent hair reduction on all skin types. So long as the hair contains pigment, we can likely treat it. From unruly underarms and bikinis to burly beards and back hair, we can treat it! Imagine the time and money you’ll save—as well as no more ingrown hairs and irritated skin—by treating unwanted hair? Treatments required depend on the patient’s need but range between eight to twelve, but after the treatment cycles are complete, there is ~90% permanent hair reduction and nothing but smooth sailing thereafter!

Laser for Nail Fungus - Onychomycosis

If the thought of being on oral medication concerns you, consider our laser treatment for nail fungus. Used alone or in conjunction with topical and oral medications as well as good hygiene practices, laser treatment for nail fungus can be very effective. A series of treatments is required based on the extent of the fungus and heats the deeper layers of the nail bed where fungal spores grow. Occasionally, reducing the nail thickness is required, which requires the patient visit a DPM (foot specialist) before treatment with laser can commence.

“Really like Dr. Sinai. Highly competent and listens to your concerns. My problem is with the office staff especially with the person who schedules appointments. Very nice on the phone but in my opinion she is incompetent in scheduling. She cancelled my appointment instead of rescheduling me. Is Laser Right for Me?

Probably, but only a personal consultation will determine your suitability. All consultations are free and scheduled on Fridays. If you’d like to schedule a consultation, click here.

Does Insurance Cover Laser Treatment?

Laser services are considered elective and therefore the short answer is no. However, some treatments can be submitted to medical insurance for a full or partial reimbursement depending on the plan. Please let us know in advance if you’d like a “superbill” to submit to your insurance after treatment is completed.
